Vocational Training is by definition training the skills needed for a particular job or profession. Through the program we are providing valuable skills needed for various jobs. Communication and Computer Skills are the two primary focus areas. Goal is to provide standardized training on these skills with NIIT certification and assistance on Job placement.
Our Koganti Narayana Rao Vocational centre started on December 2012 and our first batch of Vocational Training program started January 2013. We conducted assessment on various skills which provided dignified and sustainable livelihoods. Based on our strengths and results of the assessment we selected the following skills for vocational training.
Develop basic professional communication skills in Telugu and English. Also enhance basic numerical ability. This also includes basic marketing skills.

- Billing systems
We appointed qualified, experienced staff members to support this program. We also partnered with NIIT for certification of the program so that student's learning is directly recognized by employers.
The minimum qualifications for joining the program is either a pass or fail in S.S.C. We are selecting women based on applications we received and also on the financial situation of the applicant.

We have conducted three batches of vocational training till now. Depending on the capability of the women course duration can be from three to six months.
The program is providing significant benefits for the women with 90% of the women been placed with decent, stable jobs. On average women are getting around 5000 rupees per month. We are also using the training center for computer classes for Hope for Humanity children.
