The Patient is suffering for Cleft Lip since Birth. She is the only child. The father is a tailor and faces financial problems due to inconsistent business. They are unable to take medical help from Government run welfare scheme due to lack of the affected child’s photo in Ration Card and Health card. (Card that identifies a family below the poverty line).The present card was issued before the child was born and they find administrative hurdles in getting the child’s photo and name included. Lack of education and ability to get work done cutting red-tape are hurdles. They request for financial help.

Due to lack of inadequate health care facilities and awareness, thousands of poor children suffer with congenital and acquired heart diseases each year.
