Vana Mahotsav

HFH School celebrated Vana Mahotsav on its campus. The aim of the function was “greener tomorrow to combat the onslaught of global warming”.

The purpose was to sensitize people to the significance of environment. A rally was taken out to make people’s approach towards environment more meaningful. Director Vinod Babu garu, Principal Mrs. Lakshmi Tulasi garu flagged off the rally.Saplings were planted by the chief guest, Anne Samba Siva Rao garu,  Shobanadhri garu and our director Vinod Babu garu. Students took the pledge of planting more and more trees.    

Speaking on the occasion, the Principal, urged students to plant a tree on their birthday, which would infuse the feeling of giving among them. Vinod Babu garu made students aware of the importance of tree plantation and stressed that it was the moral duty of every individual to plant trees. He proposed to make the campus polythene-free this session.

He emphasized that the students must be connected with sapling plantation and awareness programmes, which would encourage others to realize their social and moral duty towards environment.
