Match Grants
Many companies now a days have the Matching Grant programs which will match employees contributions (hours and donations) to non-profit organization according to a certain ratio. i.e Lets say your company matches 1:2 and you want to contribute $200 for Hope for Humanity, then you only need to pay $150 and the company will pay the remaining $50.
Match Grant Program's objective is to encourage social responsibility of employees by promoting active volunteerism and encourage employees to contribute to qualified non-profits. There are two types of Match Grant Programs
- Financial Contribution - Companies match a certain ratio of employees donations to a qualified non-profit organization.
- Volunteer hours contribution - Companies match time and effort their employees contribute to a qualified nonprofit. For instance, employees can charge time to the volunteer hours that they put to the non-profit given a certain threshold.
Below is a list of 25 enterprises and their respective requirements to obtain a match grant. There are many more companies that are not in the list that have the matching program.
